The Cannon Chronicle

The Cannon Chronicle is a student-generated newspaper of The Brook Hill School, created to be a news source for the student body and community. While The Chronicle seeks to report “the facts,” these “facts” will be reported with the Christian worldview in mind.

Any opinions or views expressed in columns and editorials are those of the writer and not necessarily the opinions or views of the Chronicle or The Brook Hill School.

Comment Policy:
The Cannon Chronicle values the opinion of its readers and encourages them to discuss its content. However, All comments will be reviewed at the discretion of the staff of the Cannon Chronicle, and any comments containing obscene, suggestive, vulgar, profane, threatening, disrespectful, or defamatory language will be rejected. Similarly, attacks on either groups or individuals based on race, gender, or beliefs will not be allowed.

All threats will be taken seriously, and comments and any identifying information related to them will be passed on to the school administration at the discretion of the staff of the Cannon Chronicle.

Constructive Criticism and strong opinions expressed when discussing the Cannon Chronicle or its works are welcome, but personal attacks on the reporters will be blocked. 

If you feel strongly that something was reported poorly, or strongly disagree with an opinion, we encourage you to submit a full article or commentary on the subject: guest columns can be emailed to mtravis@brookhill.org. Views expressed in comments are solely the authors and are not necessarily the beliefs of the Cannon Chronicle, the Brook Hill School, or Bullard, TX. Finally, once submitted, any comments become the property of the Cannon Chronicle.
