Fright Fest is an event held every year at Six Flags Over Texas, an amusement park in Arlington Texas. During the weekends leading up to Halloween, SFOT holds an event that allows people to ride roller coasters, be terrified, and have fun.
Employees are paid to dress up in costumes, put on make makeup and other apparel, and get their scare on.
Haunted houses are set up all throughout the park for guests ages fourteen and up.
Zombies, vampires, ghouls, and other undead creatures are released to terrify the guests that roam throughout the amusement park until it closes.
Michael Kirkpatrick and I personally experienced SFOT’s Fright Fest Saturday, October, 26, 2014. It was an amazing experience for both of us.
Arriving around 1 pm, we roamed the park in search of an amazing night.
We began by riding some of the stomach churning roller coasters, until there were no coasters left to ride.
Since there were no other roller coasters left to ride, we decided we would take advantage of the parks haunted houses and visited all but 2 of the attractions.
Some of these haunted houses were called: Zombie Asylum, Circus Berzerkus, and Piggy’s Slaughterhouse.
Before we knew it the park was closing, and we had to head to the front gate to exit after an awesome night at Six Flags Over Texas.
