Yesterday Brook Hill’s photojournalism SPARC class went to the Caldwell Zoo to find a story and what a story they got!
Students could not believe their eyes when they saw the baby lion cubs had escaped.
The baby cubs were spotted on the construction site of a new exhibit. Three students from the SPARC group were appalled when Doc, the male lion cub, started talking to them in an Australian accent. The students asked why they ran away. The cubs said their dad had roared at them yesterday and they were scared. The students said there was no reason to be scared.
There were three students and four lions that marched in a single file line. They marched straight into the lion exhibit. The group marching through the zoo amazed everyone.
The lion cubs were reunited with their father. Who later took them under his care and protection.
