Fine Arts Student Spotlight: Kelsey Kilgore

Senior Kelsey Grace Kilgore proudly showcases her talent in the Brook Hill drama class as well as the choir. She has been involved in fine arts for the past seven years!

“Fine arts is a way to express yourself and show your creative side,” Kelsey says; “Drama lets you escape your everyday life and create someone completely different from you.”

Starting in middle school with her first show The Great Pandemonium, she has gone on to play unforgettable roles in The Sound of Music, Aida, The Secret Garden, Footloose, The Wizard of Oz, Monday always Leads to Murder and The Music man.  But nothing can compare to her stunning portrayal of Miss. Hannigan in Annie (2012).

You will also be able to see Kelsey as the lead role of Aunt Liz in Brook Hill’s upcoming dinner theater: You Can’t Get There From Here which opens on October 17th.

Kelsey expresses her gratitude saying she is “so thankful for the caliber of the Brook Hill Fine Arts program. It’s truly one in a million!”
